Terms of use

These terms are the agreement between you and [legal entity name] (“findmycareer.ai”, “we”) when you use the service. Using it means you accept them.
1. Who can use it
You must be 18 or older and able to enter a contract. One account per person. Keep your sign-in secure; tell us at security@findmycareer.ai if you think someone else has access.
2. What we provide
Tools to run your job search: job matching with reasons, a résumé studio, an application tracker, optional mailbox sync, drafted emails you approve before sending, and an assistant that answers from your own data. Features change as the product develops, and some parts of the interface are marked as not yet built.
3. What we don’t promise
- No job is guaranteed. Scores, plans and drafts are informed suggestions, not predictions and not advice.
- Check AI output before you rely on it. Models make mistakes. Anything we draft is yours to review, edit and approve — and nothing is sent, applied for or published without your explicit click.
- Job listings come from employers and other sources; we don’t control their accuracy or whether a role is still open.
- We don’t provide legal, financial, immigration or medical advice.
4. Your content
Your résumés, applications, notes and messages remain yours. You give us permission to store and process them to run the service for you — nothing more. We don’t use your content to train AI models, and we don’t show your profile to employers unless you ask us to. You confirm you have the right to upload what you upload, and that it is accurate: inventing experience is a breach of these terms.
5. Fair use
Please don’t:
- scrape, resell or redistribute the service or its data;
- use it to send spam, harass anyone, or impersonate a person or company;
- use it to mass-apply indiscriminately, or to submit applications that misrepresent a candidate;
- attempt to break, overload or circumvent our security, rate limits or usage caps;
- upload someone else’s personal data without a lawful basis for doing so.
We may suspend an account that does these things, and we will tell you why.
6. Connected accounts
If you connect Gmail or another service, you authorise us to use it only for the purposes described in the privacy notice. You can disconnect at any time in Settings, which revokes our access at the provider.
7. Paid plans
Paid plans, when available, are billed in advance for the period shown at purchase, including applicable taxes. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period. Refunds are handled case by case and in line with the consumer law that applies to you. Free usage may be subject to fair-use limits, which we show in the product.
8. Ending it
You can delete your account at any time in Settings; deletion is irreversible and we purge your data within 30 days. We may end or suspend an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, for non-payment, or if we have to by law — with notice unless that would be unlawful or unsafe.
9. Liability
We provide the service with reasonable care, but as-is to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for lost opportunities, lost earnings, or decisions you or an employer make. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.
10. Changes and law
We’ll give notice in the product before material changes take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bengaluru have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
